National Prison Radio
The schedule consists of a mix of specialist music and speech programming. The speech programming includes information about educational courses, services and treatments available to prisoners within the prison and after release. Content aims to contribute to a reduction in re-offending by assisting with the induction, education and resettlement of prisoners. Programming is produced by prisoners working in partnership with the Prison Radio Association’s team of professional radio producers. In addition, some external programming provided to the Prison Radio Association is rebroadcast on National Prison Radio.
